Before opening my own firm, I was a senior trial and appellate attorney at the Law Offices of Henry R. Simon, a trial attorney for the New York Telephone Company, and a civil litigator for the Wall Street firm, Hughes Hubbard & Reed. I am an honors graduate of Fordham Law School, and I am a member of the New York and New Jersey bars. I also am duly admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Fourth Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Supreme Court.

I concentrate on civil litigation in both federal and state courts and residential real estate transactions. I have over twenty-four years of civil litigation experience, including significant appellate court experience. I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex negligence, products liability, and toxic tort matters. Employment law has also been a long-standing interest of mine. One of my earliest cases was a class action against the New York City Board of Education on behalf of women seeking promotions to administrative positions in the City high schools.

More recently, I have successfully defended corporate defendants in various types of product liability actions and discrimination lawsuits. I also have extensive appellate experience, having personally briefed over 30 appeals in various appellate courts.I also have argued over 15 times and won all but one case I have handled on appeal. Regardless of whether I am representing a plaintiff or a defendant, I am committed to excellence and dedicated to achieving the best possible results for each client.

I also have extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions.  Regardless of the size of the transaction, I provide the same level of excellent service and engage in  constant communication with my clients. My motto is "do whatever it takes" to satisfy the client and complete the transaction.

The cases I have handled are too numerous to mention, but some of my more significant victories are reflected in the following decisions:

Selzer v. Board of Education, 112 F.R.D. 176 (S.D.N.Y. 1986);

Hartnett v. Schering Corp., 2 F.3d 90 (4th Cir. 1993);

Mitchell v. Carnrick Laboratories, 237 A.D.2d 194 (1st Dept. 1997);
